Events: LIAR
Various panels and seminars have been organised at, for example, the regular conferences of IPrA (International Pragmatics Association) and LPRG (Linguistic Politeness Research Group). However, the major venue for the discussion of impoliteness is the series of conferences labelled LIAR (Linguistic Impoliteness and Rudeness). This series was initiated by Derek Bousfield and Jonathan Culpeper.
