PublicationsThe BACS Legal Studies group is dedicated to facilitating, publishing and disseminating Anglo-Canadian Legal Scholarship to a wide audience, including practitioners, academics, government agencies and other interested parties. Our outputs are detailed below. Edited CollectionsWe are pleased to announce that our latest project on Anglo-Canadian perspectives on Unjust Enrichment and Restitution is now published. This collection of essays addresses some of the fundamental questions facing the law of contract and of unjust enrichment in the twenty-first century from a comparative perspective. Leading academics from Canada and the United Kingdom analyse the nature and development of the principles of unjust enrichment, their relationship with contract and fiduciary obligations and their impact upon traditional contractual doctrines such as mistake, undue influence, frustration and the assessment of damages. The text will appeal to a wide readership, and is a significant contribution to scholarship in this area.
