It is part of the EuroBABEL project on Referential Hierarchies in Morphosyntax (RHIM). It brings together language(-family) specialists and typologists to study the grammatical effects of referential factors - such as animacy, information structure, definiteness, anaphoricity (pronoun vs. noun), person, and number - on the expression of three-participant events in and across languages. This event, as part of the European Science Foundation EUROCORES Programme EuroBABEL, was supported by funds from AHRC, AKA, DASTI, DFG, ESRC, FWF, NWO, NSF, OTKA and SNSF.
