Chris Groveris Senior Lecturer in Social Policy in the Department of
Applied Social Science at Lancaster University. Chris is also a member
of the Centre for Disability Research (CeDR). Chris' research interests
include social security, income maintenance and labour market policy
and their implications for disabled people.

Imrie, Kings College London, UK
Title: Universalism, universal design and equitable access
to the built environment
Rob Imrie is Professor of Geography at King's College London. Rob's
research interests include the geographies of disability and the build
environment.
Kristjana
Kristiansen, NTNU, Norway
Title: The ontology of insanity: whose version of reality
is real?
Kristjana is Professor at the Norweigan University of Science and Technology
(NTNU), Department of Social Work and Health Science. Her research interests
are in disability studies, mental health and qualitative methodologies.
Sonali
Shah, University of Leeds, UK
Title: Aspirations to Success: the winding road of employment
for disabled people
Sonali is Research Fellow at the Centre for Disability Studies, University
of Leeds. Her research adopt different qualitative methodologies to
examine the impact of public policy on the private lives of disabled
people over historical time and in an international context.
