Contract Letter

Once your position at Lancaster is confirmed, you will receive a copy of your contract via email. It is essential that you read through it carefully, as well as the separate Terms and Conditions document and then accept your appointment by signing, scanning and returning the acceptance slip (at the bottom of the contract letter) attached via email to hr@lancaster.ac.uk within 10 calendar days of the date of receipt of the letter.

Lancaster University is focused on protecting the physical and mental health of all staff and our Occupational Health provider, Optima Health will undertake a pre-placement health assessment for all new employees prior to their first day of employment to ensure that individuals are fit to undertake job tasks required for their role. This will help us to support you and make any reasonable adjustments necessary to help you work effectively. You can find information on Disability at Lancaster on the EDI webpages. If you have other concerns about your working environment and specific needs, please get in touch with your line manager.

In addition, a Car Parking Permit Form will be included in the contract letter. See the Campus Information page for more information on Car Parking.
