Accreditations

Our Food and Dining team will cater for all dietary requirements. In 2019 the team were awarded as the first University in the country to achieve full Allergen Accreditation across all food on campus, we take seriously the concerns around allergens and food intolerances. As such, we provide meals that provide for all 14 Allergens and other main food intolerances. Please talk to us about your needs.

Here at Lancaster University, we understand the importance of excellent food for your event. Our multi-award-winning catering team can deliver a tailor-made product that will exceed your expectations. All senior staff have achieved up to Level 4 in Food Hygiene and most of the team have achieved up to Level 3 in Allergen Management. All staff have undertaken and passed the Food Standards Agency Food Allergens qualification.

    Securing the Allergen Accreditation allows our customers living with an allergy to dine in confidence that excellent allergen management procedures are in place in our venues.

  • Easy to Ask Campaign

    The #easytoASK campaign was created on the back of online research on young adults' experiences of managing their food sensitivities, particularly in the context of eating out. We want to encourage diners living with allergies to feel they can speak to our staff in confidence, knowing we're Allergy Aware.
