Margaret Fell

Margaret Fell is home to the largest lecture theatre on campus with a capacity of 400 people.

The brand new 400 seat Margaret Fell Lecture Theatre is the flagship lecture theatre on campus. As well as teaching, the lecture theatre is also used for conferencing and events with multiple presenters, panel sessions and performances.

Due to the many different requirements for the space, there is sufficient AV equipment including the lectern, AV booth, various auxiliary connection positions around the room, installed to handle all video, audio and control traffic over a dedicated AV network.

Directions to Margaret Fell Lecture Theatre

Leave the M6 motorway at Junction 33 and take the A6 north towards Lancaster.

For the Margaret Fell Lecture Theatre turn left at the roundabout at the top of the main University driveway.  Follow the road down past the security lodge and keep going until you reach the visitor parking on North Drive where the woodland trail begins.

We recommend that delegates use Visitor Car Parking Zones A, B or C when visiting the Margaret Fell Lecture Theatre. 

If you are on our day delegate or 24 hour residential package, free car parking permits can be collected from your Event Coordinator on arrival. Alternatively, the parking is pay and display and cards are accepted.

Margaret Fell Lecture Theatre can be found in the Blue Zone on the campus map and is marked by the letters FAS.
