Faculty of Arts and Social Sciences (FASS)

Faculty of Arts and Social Sciences (FASS) is located in the north of campus, close to Guest Bedrooms, and available to hire all year.

The meeting space is flexible and flat floored, with plenty of natural daylight, which can be subdivided into two rooms, both equipped with AV facilities; including a projector, microphones and the ability to host hybrid meetings.

FASS Venue Capacity

The space is suitable for 58 people, and can be divided into two rooms with a portable patrition wall. When divided, the larger meeting room comfortably accommodates up to 34 people, and the smaller meeting room provides space for up to 24 people.

Directions to Faculty of Arts and Social Sciences

Leave the M6 motorway at Junction 33 and take the A6 north towards Lancaster.

For the FASS Meeting Rooms turn left at the roundabout at the top of the main University driveway.  Follow the road down past the security lodge and keep going until you reach the visitor parking on North Drive where the woodland trail begins.

We recommend that delegates use Visitor Car Parking Zones A, B or C when visiting the FASS Meeting Rooms. 

If you are on our day delegate or 24 hour residential package, free car parking permits can be collected from your Event Coordinator on arrival. Alternatively, the parking is pay and display and cards are accepted.

Faculty of Arts and Social Sciences can be found in the Blue Zone on the campus map and is marked by the letters FAS.
