What I'm doing now

Dami - I moved to Lagos in 2015 and have been working as a research analyst for an economic consulting firm. Essentially this involves about 45 hours a week behind a computer, regular TV interviews and heated discussions about economic policy with just about everyone (so don't even bother getting into an economic argument with me - I will finish you! JK!). I am also an active volunteer for an NGO that drives poverty alleviation and economic empowerment in various communities across Africa.

Mjay - I am the Corporate Planner and Researcher for Consolidated Hllmark Insurance Plc. I currently live and work in Lagos, spending many weekends exploring the city of my childhood from an adult perspective.

Why I volunteer

Dami - Those who know me well will tell you that I'm constantly organising shindigs and reunions for my group of friends. I love the idea of coming together over some ice tea, reminiscing about the hit and miss of ACS socials, the days when 18 degrees centigrade was considered 'great weather' and general life in the North West of England. Plus, networking with fellow alumni can be valuable to your career and social life!

Mjay - I met some of the best people in the world during my time at Lancaster, so any opportunity to see them is one I am willing to take up.
