Lucy Hutchinson, freelance photographer, and Enterprise Education Development Manager at Work in Progress, will be running this session which is perfect for creative practitioners including artists, designers, photographers, writers, actors, dancers, and musicians who are exploring self-employment, freelancing, or starting up a social enterprise. Perhaps you're interested in creating an online portfolio or selling your pieces through Etsy?
If you feel overwhelmed or not sure where to begin, come and join this workshop and we will help you get started.
In this session we will take a look at some of the practicalities, skills and mindsets that play a crucial role in setting up and running your creative enterprise, giving you practical tools to get started and keep going. We will also talk through some creative enterprise case studies to show how Lancaster students and recent graduates turned their ideas into reality with the support of the Work in Progress team.
Case studies include:
Three Left Feet Theatre Company
