How to...Week is designed for students to uncover opportunities on campus to explore their potential and purpose. It’s a week to challenge your ideas about yourself and your potential to give yourself permission to try new things to develop and grow. Click here to find out what other sessions are on offer.

Discover and grow in your unique purpose

The most important place to start to discover and grow in your unique purpose is with yourself, who you are and what you care about, and what your values are as they create the foundation from which you will build. Join us for this workshop to empower you and as a starting point to discover and grow in your unique purpose

Engage with coaching approaches to identify what is really important to you. You will identify your personal values, develop a personal mission statement and learn how to live your values each day. You will learn the importance of differentiating your values and your goals as well as touching on what gets in the way of you living true to your values (the saboteurs or gremlins!)

This workshop will be led by author and coach Will Medd and the material comes from Will’s co-authored book “Get Sorted” as well as YouTube videos that offer further exploration of the activities.

Please note that some sessions have capacity limits, and you may be put on a waiting list - sign up early to avoid disappointment, and as always, if you can no longer make a session, please email workinprogress@lancaster.ac.uk to let us know so we can offer your place to somebody else.
