The Work Foundation is the leading think tank for improving work in the UK. We have been an authoritative, independent source of ideas and analysis on the labour market and the wider economy for over a hundred years.
Collaboration and engagement are key to our research and influencing work. We actively look to partner with like-minded businesses, charities, trade unions, public sector organisations and funders to help us realise this goal. We also work with individual places to help them support higher quality employment in their area.
How are we funded?
The Work Foundation is a part of Lancaster University Management School. Our work is funded through a variety of sources, including research grants, project sponsorships and consultancy work.
What kind of partnerships do we engage in?
At the Work Foundation, we partner with a range of different organisations to undertake original research and analysis and facilitate workshops, policy roundtables and events. The majority of these partnerships involve the provision of funding to the Work Foundation, but others involve collaborations around data and evidence gathering.
