Themed discussion on ‘return to work on campus’
On 8 Sep we held an informal themed discussion for members about ‘return to work on campus’. Thanks to all those that attended and shared issues or concerns. It was quite a technical discussion in places, with lots of talk about risk assessments and committees, but many of you provided information that we are able to follow up through various channels, and ensure that the reopening of campus is as safe as possible for everyone.
A full summary will be circulated once we’ve condensed and anonymised the discussion, but several key pieces of advice came out of the discussion:
- If you’re asked to change your usual working pattern and/or asked to come onto campus to work during the pandemic ASK TO SEE THE RISK ASSESSMENT.
- If you or a household members have underlying health conditions which make you vulnerable to Covid 19 and are being asked to return to work on campus REQUEST AN INDIVIDUAL RISK ASSESSMENT
