seminar style plus distance learners)

- Supervisor for the Consultancy MA run by Lancaster's Independent Studies.
Past
- Support for the independent learner under the auspices of Lancaster's
School of Independent Studies (Director, 1979 - 85)
- Undergraduate teaching at all levels, most recently chiefly in the
History of Modern Philosophy and the Philosophy of Mind, but also in
Political Philosophy, Philosophy of Social Science, Logic, Philosophy
of Science, Kant, and Ethics
- Open University teaching; traditional 'extra mural' work (under the
auspices of Liverpool University)
