Which is the best answer, would
you say? Click on its number.
Time
is an illusion anyway.
If
it was possible we would have met at least one time-traveller by now.
When
you try and think about time travel in detail you always end up contradicting
yourself.
Once
you have understood the meanings of the words you can see that there is a contradiction
in saying that time travel is possible.
Which of the following is the strongest argument do
you think against the possibility of time travel?
You will find (1) seriously argued for, but to me it is strange
to think something so interesting could be ruled out on linguistic grounds
like this. But (2) sounds stronger? There is always that moment when you confront
- yourself!
I think (3) is a good point, but inconclusive (have you actually
seen a black swan?). I suppose (4) if true would constitute a (conclusive)
argument against the possibility of time travel, but it's quite a teapot itself.
Score?
