New Events Series!
Writing for Liberty is our new Trans-Scriptions events series and is funded by Lancaster Friends Fund. It will bring writers who have written in the cause of social inclusion and political liberty to Lancaster, engaging them in reading, performance and debate with live audiences. The events will also be recorded for our website.
Professor Roger Bromley will launch the series with an inaugural lecture on October 17th, followed by a special PEN event featuring Robert Sharpe and novelist Gillian Slovo on November 22nd. Further details of those events and the remaining events in the series will be available from this website.
