Rachel Ogbu

 

Project participant in Nigeria

 

Rachel Ogbu was born on May 10, 1984 in Lagos State Nigeria and is from Benue State.
She studied Mass Communication and has a Diploma in Computer Science. Rachel has worked with the Broadcasting Service of Ekiti State as a Producer/Presenter on the radio and TV programme, Eating Right and Health Titbits. There, she also became the station's first camera woman.
Rachel loves challenges, therefore it was news when in 2006, she became the youngest column writer in Newswatch Magazine. She writes the column News Extra.
Rachel is an Associate of the Nigerian Institute of Public Relations and a Chartered Member of the Nigerian Institute of Management. She was also trained by the Wole Soyinka's Investigative Reporting Award, British High Commission and the Canadian International Development Agency.
Rachel also loves writing and socializing. She intends to make the world better by writing- one story at a time.
