Nwosu Onyebuchi

 

Project participant in Nigeria

 

Onyebuchi Nwosu holds a B. A. and M. A. in English Language/ Literature and a PGD in Journalism. He has won many academic awards among which are:  First Prize in Voice of Nigeria Annual International Essay Competition 1999 (English); First Prize in Africa Leadership Forum/Daily Times "Nigeria at Forty" National Essay Competition, 2000.
Besides being a prolific essayist, widely published critic, an evocative poet and a short story writer, his scholarly essays and literary works have appeared in some academic journals. He has published a play entitled Bleeding Scars - which looks at the fallouts of Nigeria-Biafra civil war and the way forward for Nigeria. He is the co-editor of A Scholar in the Eyes of His Students. Essays in Honour of Professor J.  O.  J. Nwachukwu-Agbada.
A Professional Teachers' Trainer, radio script writer, editor and Publicity Secretary, Association of Nigerian Authors, Abuja Chapter, he is an Educational and Cultural Consultant.
