Uchechukwu Peter Umezurike

 

Project participant in Nigeria

 

Uchechukwu Peter Umezurike is a graduate of Government & Public Administration from Abia State University and author of four books: Sam and the Wallet (children novel), Aridity of Feelings (poems), Tears in her Eyes (short stories), and Dark through the Delta (poems).
He was the Finalist & Runner-up, 2007 Nigeria LNG Prize for Literature and Finalist & Runner-up, 2007 ANA/Lantern Prize for Children's Fiction. He was the winner of the 2006 ANA/Funtime Prize for Children Literature, and one of the 24 winners of the 2006 Commonwealth Short Story Competition. He has been published in print and on-line magazines and anthologies.
