John Ruskin was a spectacular public speaker, who campaigned for education for all.

His lectures were equal parts verbal and visual, as Ruskin used hand-crafted models, casts and diagrams to enhance his compelling rhetoric. This exhibition includes recently conserved Lecture Diagrams, large-scale visual aids created by Ruskin and his associates.

School of Ruskin explores Ruskin’s visionary teaching, through the material evidence of his belief that learning should be part of the pulse of everyday life, for everyone.
