Part of The Ruskin’s series of Laboratories – your opportunity to get involved in our work.
The Ruskin Whitehouse Collection includes 45 Lecture Diagrams, large-scale visual aids created by Ruskin and his associates.
Their diverse subject matter reflect Ruskin’s polymath interests. Some of these fragile works have not been seen since Ruskin himself used them on stage. Our project to research, conserve and display Ruskin’s Lecture Diagrams begins with a programme ‘conservation in public’ with paper specialist Helen Creasy (Scottish Conservation Studio).
