What is STOR-i?
The STOR-i (Statistics and Operational Research with industry) CDT is an EPSRC-funded Centre for Doctoral Training at Lancaster University. It’s a joint PhD programme between the departments of Mathematics and Statistics and Management Science.
The training programme begins with a one-year MRes course followed by a three-year PhD project, many of which are developed and delivered with industrial partners.
STOR-i have internationally recognized expertise that ranges widely across forecasting, optimization, simulation, statistical modelling and inference, with a particularly strong focus on computationally intensive approaches. This group have ranked in the top five universities in the UK in every review of RAE/REF since 1992. See STOR-i website for more information
