About me

Prior to starting at STOR-i, I completed both my undergraduate and postgraduate Master’s degrees at Lancaster University. For my Bachelor’s I studied Mathematics with Statistics, it was during this time that I discovered an interest in statistics and data analysis. I was the proud recipient of the 2021 Royal Statistical Society Award for achieving the highest mark of all statisticians graduating at Lancaster.

My interest in using data led to me continuing my studies through Data Science MSc course, which I graduated from with a Distinction in late 2022. During this time, I found an interest in Statistical Learning, which led to me completing my Master’s Dissertation titled: “Online Binary Classification with One-sided feedback”.

During my spare time I enjoy taking part in two main hobbies: brass banding and figure skating. I started learning the cornet age 5 and have since enjoyed playing in a number of ensembles, including my current position as Principal Cornet of Poulton-le-Fylde Brass Band.
