In October 2020, I started my MRes in Statistics and Operational Research as part of the STOR-i program at Lancaster. I am looking forward to build on my knowledge of Statistics and Operational Research as well as investigate a range of different areas of research in order develop skills needed to start my PhD next year. You can find out more about STOR-i here or keep up to date on with my MRes on my blog.

I graduated from the University of Leeds in July 2020 with a BSc in Mathematics. During my degree I took a variety of pure and applied mathematics modules. I particularly enjoyed solving problems with clear real-life applications and using mathematics as well as computational methods to solve them. For my final year project, I looked at using python to solve Kakuro puzzles.

In my spare time, I enjoy sewing especially making my own clothes. I also enjoy listening to music and to see it live when I can. Another hobby of mine is to go on walks and explore new places as well as look after my growing plant collection.
