About me

I graduated from Lancaster University in 2021 with a BSc in Mathematics. I’ve had an interest in probability and statistics since high school and this grew throughout my undergraduate studies, where I particularly enjoyed courses in Bayesian statistics and time series analysis. During my second year, I completed a report on the theory and applications of branching processes which began my interest in research. This led me to STOR-i, where I completed the summer research internship in 2020. Whilst on the internship I assisted a PhD student with their research on the online temporal disaggregation of time series. This convinced me that I wanted to pursue research in statistics.

Studying as a part of STOR-i particularly appealed to me because of the many opportunities it provides to discover new areas of interest in the MRes year. I am looking forward to exploring all these options and developing my own research.
