I am currently studying as part of the STOR-i CDT at Lancaster University.
STOR-i is a pioneering four-year Centre for Doctoral Training (CDT) programme with a ground-breaking approach to Statistics and Operational Research (STOR).
The CDT is a joint venture between the departments of Mathematics and Statistics and Management Science. It offers students a four-year PhD programme in Statistics and Operational Research (STOR) delivered with the involvement of industry partners.
The involvement of industrial partners is a key aspect of the programme and is very much at the forefront of the work carried out at STOR-i. This aspect of the programme gives students an opportunity to see how their research can be used to solve real world problems faced in industry.
Further information about the programme can be found on the STOR-i website. Alternatively, please check out the video below.
