I’m Luke, a PhD student at the STOR-i Center for Doctoral Training at Lancaster University with a deep passion for the Probability and Operational Research. I’ve always had a talent for academia and have persistently shown an interest and healthy competitiveness towards Mathematics and Statistics, especially to solve real world problems. I also have a wide range of transferable skills, including problem solving, team work, organisation, and technological literacy. My PhD research is grounded in the framework of Markov Decision Processes, applied to the problem of actively maintaining transportation infrastructure.

The primary active component of this website is my blog, through which I post casual introductory level discussions about my current and past research.

My full Curriculum Vitae can be found here.
