I’m Luke, a PhD student at the STOR-i Center for Doctoral Training at Lancaster University with a deep interest in probability and Operational Research. My current research is grounded in the framework of Markov Decision Processes (MDPs), which encapsulates a wide range of sequential decision-making problems under uncertainty. Specifically, we apply the MDP framework to the problem of maintaining systems with redundant components.

The primary active component of this website is my blog, through which I post casual introductory level discussions about my current and past research.

My full Curriculum Vitae can be found here.
