I graduated from Lancaster University in 2022 with an MSc in Mathematics. During my undergraduate degree, I developed an interest in probability and statistics – particularly in my final year, where I developed an interest in Markov Chain Monte Carlo and completed my dissertation on Discrete-Time Markov Chains.
I joined STOR-i because of the opportunity to work with industry partners in real-world applications of statistics and operation research. I also wanted to explore the wide range of research areas in order to make a more informed choice for my PhD. I am looking forward to exploring these research areas and developing my skills during my MRes year.
In my free time I enjoy playing board games, reading books, and all things Doctor Who! As you can see from the image above I am also a fan of Matt Parker; the photo above is from a live event in Lancaster in 2019.
