Serious Games for Covid-19 Awareness

This page started out with a simple question:
How do you explain and promote the two initial protective guidelines ("Wash Hands" and "Avoid Touching Face") to a child, like my 4yr old nephew?
I teach WebXR and Game Design, so it seemed like a good idea to apply those concepts into practice.
Here are two prototype games which could explain the first guideline through interaction.

VRCoV
Play!
VRCoV is an Virtual Reality game where you wash off the Covid-19 virus by using a gaze-controlled water-tap.
The idea links the use of a running water-tap with the destruction of the virus.
Move the smartphone to look around and hold the gaze-reticle on virus particle till it gets killed and before it disappears.
The virus particles will periodically replicate.
To win, kill off all the particles before their number reaches a critical mass.
⏺ Use landscape orientation to play
⏺ If Google-Cardboard type harness is available, use the "VR" button to enter stereoscopic mode
⏺ Move water-tap/gaze-reticle to where virus particle appears and hold gaze to kill it
Requirements: WebGL-enabled smartphone and browser (certain Apple versions and older smartphones may not work).
Extras: Google Cardboard Harness
ARCoV
Play!
ARCoV is an Augmented Reality game where you kill off the Covid-19 virus by washing.
The idea links the use of a running water-tap with the destruction of the virus.
The AR version relies on the use of the Hiro marker (here) to control a water-tap in the AR view.
Every time a virus particle comes in contact with the water-tap, it is killed off.
The virus particles will periodically replicate.
To win, kill off all the particles before their number reaches a critical mass.
⏺ Use landscape orientation and then single-tap to enter full-screen mode
⏺ Grant access to phone camera (rear-facing)
⏺ Place marker (printed or on screen of another device) in view of the camera
⏺ Move marker within AR space to bring water-tap into contact with virus particles
Requirements: WebGL-enabled smartphone and browser (certain Apple versions and older smartphones may not work).
Permissions: Access to rear-facing camera
Marker: Hiro printed to a 6x6 inch size or on another phone/PC screen
Hint: In certain situations, its best to refresh the page after changing orientation.
