BUGS and FIXES IN PMAGTOOLS  version 4.2a


PLOTTING BUGS

# emf and wmf rotated text is not correct when import into coredraw- is ok in word and excel
	fix: ungroup and rotate the mis-aligned text in Coreldraw

# when try and copy to clip a stereo-graphic from pop-up menu it sometimes crashes
	fix: Intermittant problem, try it again drawing things in different order.


CALCULATION BUGS

# switchs round the dip-dirn/dip and strike/dip settings- in both dialog and multiple-conversion commands. The settings flags are swapped round in the code
	FIX: Use the strike/dip setting for dip-direction and dip, and the dip-dirn/dip for strike and dip.

#Text output in Reversal test uses measured gamma, rather than critical gamma in assessing the rating, a,b,c or i
	FIX: check the critical gamma and change the reversal rating 

# maths for the skewness/kurtosis values for 2D data (from Mardia) are incorrect
	Fix: none	

# field corrections when inc is either exactly 90 or -90, the output dec is incorrect for -90 case
	fix: use a value very close to 90 i.e. 89.999

#error in fisher add if N and R close together, yet R<N it apparently reports and error, 
# also R not updated if k and r already present (only problem for 2nd calc round), 
	FIX: none

# using great circle calculation k, Fisher add dialog does not give same k and visa versa
	fix: none, GC calculation of k is differnt to conventional Fisher k


#when using two planes in gc analysis k and a 95 give bad values
	FIX: use more planes

#when using only great circs, and a initial directional guess, it still displays the guess as n-fixed=1 in output
	FIX: it does not use this value in the mean, just error in display

OPERATION AND DISPLAY BUGS

#when exporting need to make sure that filename extension corresponds to expected file type- otherwise wmf can overwrite emf file name
	FIX: use the correct file extension

#double clicking on a gin file opens two copies in a new pmagtool exe, and only one copy when already open
	FIX: none

#does not appear to copy mean to clipboard for fisher add dialog, or gc mean calc 
	fix: copy manually

#- When displaying a set with two or more sets and select one through label dialog in frame to only display one of them. If then select in input window lines of values which do not correspond to the set name previosuly selected then the program may crash. Problem is the label dialog does not keep track with the selection in the input view- the doc and label dialog are out of sync.
	fix: none

# if 9 or 10 columns and missing data present does not display the correct data ok.
	fix: use the missing flag indicator

# pasting text from clipboard- may crash if try and paste in more than 10 columns
	fix: try saving to file and then load

#does not remember the printer settings from the same window, when printed- have to reset the printer settings again
	FIX: It does this OK when do it through the printer-setup interface, just not when printing
