New class instructors boost class offering at Lancaster University Sports Centre
The Sports Centre is pleased to welcome two new class instructors, Christina Elazab and Ruth Langley to the group exercise timetable. Both instructors bring a wealth of experience, boosting the class offering at the Centre.
From Thursday 11th November, Ruth will be teaching ‘Indoor Cycling’ and ‘Hatha Yoga’ and from Friday 12th November, Christina will be teaching ‘Sculpt and Strengthen’ and ‘Stretch and Unwind.’ All the classes are open to all levels of experience.
Thursday 6.15-7pm
Indoor Cycling
An addictive and highly affective class, building endurance and toning in your legs and glutes. An excellent cardiovascular workout!
Thursday - 7.15-8.15pm
Hatha Yoga
Hatha Yoga is defined as movement that develops strength, flexibility, bodily relaxation, and mental concentration. The class is designed for all levels and provides a balanced combination of sustained poses with attention to basic alignment and breathing techniques
Friday 12.05 – 1pm
Sculpt and Strengthen
A dynamic class that offers a fusion of dance, fitness and yoga to strengthen and lengthen your body in a unique way. Expect to find a combination of strength based exercises entwined with stretches to really free up the body and feel stronger and stretched! With some upbeat tunes and positive vibes you will be energised from head to toe!
Friday 1.05-2pm
Stretch and Unwind
This is your weekend reset! Decompress from your week and flow through a series of Yoga postures designed to stretch and release the entire body, mind and soul. This is the perfect opportunity to tune into you and feel renewed from the inside out.
