Sport Lancaster is recruiting a Fitness Instructor, Climbing Instructor, and Receptionist to join the team and contribute to a dynamic working environment within Lancaster University's renowned Sports Centre.

The three roles are full-time, working an average of 36.5 hours per week over a rota of shift work, which may include early mornings, evenings, weekends, University closure days, and bank holidays.

The closing date for applications on all three vacancies is Sunday 4 May.

Fitness Instructor

The successful Fitness Instuctor candidate will play a pivotal part in delivering high-quality fitness instruction and support the University’s diverse community, including students, staff, and local members to achieve their fitness goals through personalised advice and group fitness classes.

Key responsibilities include offering fitness assessments, running classes, and helping with general fitness operations. Applicants should be passionate about fitness, with relevant qualifications and experience, and have the ability to inspire others to reach their full potential.

Receptionist

The successful Receptionist candidate will become a vital part of Sport Lancaster’s operations by providing exceptional customer service to students, staff, and members of the local community, with a focus on maintaining a welcoming environment for all facility users.

The post-holder will welcome visitors, assist with Membership enquiries, process sales, and handle bookings. Other duties include managing leisure management systems, ensuring that all data is accurately recorded.
