Event Details

Sport Lancaster is hosting a 4km Rainbow Run in partnership with Lancaster University Running and Athletics Club (LURAC), raising funds for Cancer Research UK.

Taking place on Wednesday 5 March at 2pm, the Rainbow Run costs £3.50 to enter and all proceeds are donated to Cancer Research UK in support of their work.

The event is open to all age groups and ability levels, and participants can choose to walk, jog, and/or run the 4km route; but all are asked to wear their brightest colours for the event.

Commencing behind Sport Lancaster, marshals will guide the way through the Woodland Walk and various paths on campus, until the route is completed back at Sport Lancaster.

Cancer Research UK will also be present on the day, accepting donations and talking to event attendees about their charity.

Registration will start from 1.30pm, please allow plenty of time, ready for a prompt 2pm race briefing.

Parking and toilet facilities will be available at Sport Lancaster to attendees.
