Sport Lancaster is delivering a fundraising dance class in support of BBC Children in Need.

As the nation gears up for another incredible year of Children in Need fundraising, Lancaster University staff, students, and the wider community are invited to come together at Sport Lancaster, get active, and help make a positive impact on the lives of those in need.

Taking place on Friday 17 November at 5.30pm, the one-hour Dance and Donate event will be led by a certified fitness instructor and will involve party lights, upbeat music and energetic dancing.

This year’s 'Be SPOTacular' theme encourages individuals, communities, and organisations to embrace their uniqueness. In line with the inclusive theme, the Dance and Donate event encourages spotty fancy dress and is open to participants of all ages and fitness levels.

Booking in advance is not required to take part in the Dance and Donate event. A minimum donation of £3 is suggested and can be paid by cash on arrival or via Sport Lancaster’s JustGiving page.

All proceeds from the Dance and Donate event will go directly to BBC Children in Need, whilst supporting health and well-being through dance and fitness in the local community.
