Research Overview

My field of research focuses on how autistic adults produce and perceive deception. I will be focusing upon identifying non-verbal and verbal deception cues in autistic adults alongside examining factors which may potentially impair their deception detection including theory of mind, executive functioning, and social camouflaguing. I hope the findings will help protect autistic adults from future manipulation and help overcome potential bias in the Criminal Justice System.
