I am a Senior Lecturer in Mental Health and I conduct research on the comorbidity of mental health and alcohol use disorders, with specific expertise in understanding the complexity of these issues in trauma exposed population, such as in military veterans. I am experienced in managing MRC, ESRC and charity funded projects as principal investigator and I have supported capacity building of early career staff and students, for example in gaining external PhD funding through the Society for the Study of Addiction and ESRC.
