Prof. Basil Germond gave a presentation at the Cybok Showcase event in Manchester on 11th November, a showcase with top experts exploring the latest in cyber security knowledge.

Exciting new research by Prof Germond explores how CyBOK can be enhanced to better serve scholars in strategic, defence, and security studies.

The study maps 134 articles against CyBOK's Knowledge Areas (KAs), finding that while some areas, like ‘Adversarial Behaviours,’ are directly relevant, the knowledge base could further elaborate on cyber operations during conflicts.

His suggestions include a new KA or Supplementary Guide focused on cyber warfare, the cyber 'grey zone', and critical national infrastructure.
