Downloading and Installation

How do I download ConnectLU?

ConnectLU is available for download on both iOS and Android through the App Store and Google Play. You can search for "ConnectLU" in the app stores or use this link [link to the app store page].

What devices is ConnectLU compatible with?

ConnectLU is currently compatible with the latest iOS and Android devices.

I'm having trouble installing the app. What should I do?

If you're facing issues installing the app, make sure your device is up to date and has enough storage space. You can also try restarting your device or reinstalling the app.

Account Creation and Login

Do I need to create an account to use ConnectLU?

Yes - creating an account is mandatory and is completed in app. Once created your account will be verified and you will then have access to all features and benefits of having an account such as desk booking and a range of further information.

How do I create an account?

Open the app and the first screen has the account creation options. Follow the on-screen instructions to enter your details and create your account.

I forgot my password. How can I reset it?

On the login screen, tap on "Forgot Password?". Enter the email address associated with your account and we will send you a password reset link.

General App Usage

What are the main features of ConnectLU?

ConnectLU offers a variety of features to help you collaborate with the university and other coworking users. Its primary function is to allow you to book hot desks to work from either the Health Innovation Campus (generally health related), the Gordon Manley building (Environmental Sciences) and the LENS (digital and cyber related). Although these buildings have themes we find that there are many synergies and cross cutting themes so you can choose any building. We’ll ask you to highlight your areas of interested with hashtags we have set up and you can use these to identify potential collaborators. There is a news feed and events schedule published through the app.

How do I use [Specific Feature]?

We recommend exploring the app itself for an intuitive user experience. However, if you need help with a specific feature, you can contact our team at residentenquiries@lancaster.ac.uk
