I'm currently interested in network resilience and security, DDoS attacks, spam, network slicing and service orchestration.
Prior interests include multimedia,programmable networks, active networking, URN resolution, quality-of-service (QoS), group communication and group management.
Research Grants
My Ph.D. was funded by EPSRC-CASE studentship (ref. 9456391X) and sponsorship from BT Laboratories.

I created and maintain Forge@Lancaster, a source-code management site for the School.
Current Teaching
Although I'm not currently teaching as such, I do maintain “Learning C from Java”, created to support Lancaster students who were taught Java programming in their first year, and needed C for later aspects of their degrees.
