Research Overview

I started in Physics looking at novel scanning probe microscopy methods such as scanning thermal microscopy (SThM). I then applied these methods to biological materials as well as infrared microscopy techniques. After that I moved onto applying my knowledge to make devices that using the laws of quantum physics for encryption and communication using 2D materials. Since then I have moved to work as a technician in the Psychology department where I build custom systems for experiments including; computer programming, 3D printing and custom electronics. I work with systems such as EEG, EMG, eyetracking, NIRS, VR and TMS.
