Research Overview

Environmental data scientist with 15+ years of experience in Amazon. For the past six years, I've been working on projects aimed at assessing the effects of climate change on biodiversity and ecosystem services (ESs), selecting priority areas for restoration / conservation, assessing the success of the recovery of degraded areas with a focus on ESs, and remote monitoring of biodiversity using automatic recorders (soundscape). As tools, I've been using R programming language (for statistical computing, environmental/spatial data analysis and graphics) and QGIS (to create, edit and visualise geospatial information). Currently, I'm learning SQL and Python.
