Profile

Jun Liu is a Professor and Chair in Digital Health at School of Computing and Communications in Lancaster University. He got the PhD degree from Nanyang Technological University in 2019, the MSc degree from Fudan University in 2014, and the BEng degree from Central South University in 2011. He was with Singapore University of Technology and Design from 2019 to 2024, and was with Tencent from 2014 to 2015. He is in the list of Stanford/Elsevier's Global Top 2% Scientists. He received the Best Thesis Award from EEE at NTU, and best paper awards from PREMIA. His group won the 1st Place at CVPR 2024 3D Contact Prediction Challenge and the 2nd Place at MICCAI 2023 Cephalometric Landmark Detection Challenge. He is an Associate Editor of IEEE Transactions on Image Processing, IEEE Transactions on Industrial Informatics, IEEE Transactions on Biometrics, Behavior and Identity Science, ACM Computing Surveys, and Pattern Recognition. He has served as an Area Chair of CVPR, ECCV, ICML, NeurIPS, ICLR and MM. His research interests include digital health, computer vision and machine learning.
