Dr Imke Grefe
International Lecturer in Water or Earth SciencesCurrent Teaching
- Aquatic Biogeochemistry, third year undergraduate module, LUC@BJTU
- Catchment Hydrology, third year undergraduate module, LUC@BJTU
- Hydrology: Water in the Environment, second year undergraduate module, LUC@BJTU
Research Interests
Imke is an aquatic biogeochemist with a research focus on microbially mediated nutrient cycling in freshwaters and the ocean.
Imke's current research is on the impact of hydrological connectivity on biogeochemical nutrient cycling in streams and lakes. This work uses stable isotope signatures to identify sources and the fate of nitrogen in the equatic environment.
