If you choose to study our Computer Science (Study Abroad) BSc Hons programme, you will have the option to spend your second year studying at one of our prestigious partner universities.
An overwhelming majority of our students find studying abroad to be a hugely positive experience. Studying abroad will help to develop your self-confidence and expose you to new cultures and new ways of learning. In terms of employability, studying abroad will also set you apart from many of your peers, showing employers that you are adaptable, willing to learn, with a sense of adventure and a willingness to try new things.
During your time abroad, you will study several core subjects including Databases, Human Computer Interaction and Software Design. You will also have the opportunity to take Computing and Communications modules that offer something different to those available at Lancaster.
These institutions are located in Europe, the USA, New Zealand and Australia – which institution you choose to study at is entirely up to you, although places are subject to availability.
