The Clinical Research Support team supports all Health and Social Care Research activity falling under the remit of the UK Policy Framework for Health and Social Care Research across the university, and will provide guidance on whether your research is a health and social care study, or if it falls under the category of a ‘clinical trial’. The team will help researchers develop compliant health and social care research project, obtain Sponsorship from Lancaster University and provide up to date information on the regulatory processes, so that researchers can develop and conduct high quality health and social care research.

The team provides support to the Health and Social Care Research Sponsorship Committee, which oversees the health and social care research compliance at Lancaster University.
