Having trained as a historian (I was previously Lecturer in Early Modern History at the University of Manchester), I am now the Research Development Officer for the Faculty of Health and Medicine here at Lancaster University.

I can help with the initial identification of possible funding sources and early idea development; the writing and review of draft proposals; responses to reviewer feedback; and in the event of an award, the initial set-up of the awarded project. I will be happy to help.

I am also currently the Principal of Furness College, where I am responsible for overseeing the strategic direction of the College in line with wider University priorities.
