Partnership Development Manager, Project ManagerProfessional Role
I am the Partnership Development Manager for the Faculty of Arts and Social Sciences. I work in collaboration with Faculty colleagues, Research and Enteprise Services and external partners (including funding bodies, public sector organisations, charities and businesses) to deliver strategic priorities for FASS in relation to engagement and partnerships.
My specific responsibilities include:
- Developing and maintaining effective relationships with academic colleagues and others to increase knowledge exhange activity and improve performance;
- Advocating for academic engagement and impact internally and for the value of arts, humanities and social science expertise to external partners and bodies;
- Capturing and reporting engagement activity to funders and other key stakeholders;
- Management of projects in collaboration with academic and professional services colleagues and external partners;
- Developing and maintaining relationships with a wide range of external partners including policymakers and those working in the priority areas of ‘health and wellbeing’, ‘Creative Industries, Cultural and Digital’;
- Planning and delivery of workshops and partnering events;
- Leading on marketing activity for the Engagement Team;
- Supporting Faculty responses to opportunities including national and local consultations, funding calls and other information requests;
