A special edition of the Annual Archaeology Forum, marking the first half-century of this popular event. It is offered in hybrid format, so you can attend in person or join us online. An optional lunch is available for pre-booking.
This year’s Archaeology Forum is a hybrid event, with presentations to a live audience both in the room and online. Two presentations will be pre-recorded and made available in advance to all those who register. You can watch at a time of your own choosing, via our dedicated online space, in the days leading up to the live event on Saturday 4 March. These videos will also be shown in the Library events space in the morning of the live sessions. The other presentations will be given in person during the afternoon; these presentations will be broadcast and recorded via Microsoft Teams. A live Q&A session with the speakers will be held 4.30-5.30 p.m.; this will also be broadcast, but not recorded. We will send out full information on how to access the videos (which will remain accessible for some time after the event) as well as how to join the Q&A session, via email to everyone who registers and provides a valid email address. We are delighted to acknowledge the continuing financial support of the Society for the Promotion of Roman Studies for this event.
Pre-recorded presentations, accessible online in the days before 4 March; for those who prefer not to watch online they will be screened in the venue starting at 10.30 a.m. There will be a comfort break between the two presentations.
