Crosslands and Camsgill: the two homes of Ann Audland/Camm

At the top right of the map is Crosslands Farm where John Audland lived with his wife Ann. He took Fox home to stay after the meeting on Firbank Fell. From here it is a 3½-mile walk to Camsgill, home of the Camm family (orange route); nearly four miles to Preston Patrick Church (blue route). After the death of John Audland, Ann married his friend Thomas Camm, and moved to Camsgill.
