Road to Gatebeck from West View

Fox probably went down to Gatebeck and the road along the valley bottom to Preston Patrick (to the south) via the road from Crosslands about three-quarters of a mile further north. Nowadays it goes under the M6. However, he might have carried on along the higher road and come down to Camsgill from above.
